Коррупция и экономические преступления были всегда, при любой власти. Не исключением был и "Сталинский режим". Вот только один эпизод из множества.
Как известно, Лаврентий Берия был мегрелом (даже князья в роду были).
А мегрелы чем то схожи с сицилийцами, очень крепкие родовые связи,клановая закрытость и тяга к преступным схемам.
В конце 40-х годов под патронажем Берии была воплощена одна из таких схем.
На ряде грузинских винзаводов производились "спецпартии" популярных марок вин, в том числе "Хванчкара"и "Киндзмараули".
Метод такой. В этом "вине" показатели спирта и сахара превышали норму минимум в два раза (при поднесении спички оно загоралось). По накладным с завода , допустим, отпускался ящик "Хванчкары". В Москве его принимали тоже как "один ящик", а затем разводили водой до нужной кондиции, разливали в бутылки,клеили этикетку(поставка расходных материалов шла через те же заводы, часть бутылок и этикеток списывалась на "брак").
Затем легальный "ящик" поступал в торговую сеть,а нелегальные-в коммерческие магазины и рестораны, где реализовывались по совсем уже другим ценам.
В итоге по документам всё шито-крыто, а барыши при том огромны.
Непосредственно схемой руководил зам.начальника "Главвина" Мирзоянц, а "крышей" был Берия, за что и получал до 50% лт "левого дохода".
С учетом того, что схема работала по всей стране, а её бесперебойность обеспечивали несколько десятков винзаводов, можно представить размеры "доходов".
Кстати, некоторые историки считают, что именно на деньгах с этой схемы и под "патронажем" Берии "поднялось сообщество "кавказских воров в законе".
Кстати,сын Берии-Серго, с 1954 по 1964 г.г.находился в ссылке Свердловске, жил на моём родном Химмаше и работал старшим инженером в НИИХиммаше, моя мама(Ц.Н) его неплохо знала( работала там же)

As you know, Lavrenty Beria was a Mingrelian (there were even princes in the family).
And the Mingrelians are somewhat similar to the Sicilians, very strong family ties, clan closeness and a craving for criminal schemes.
At the end of the 40s, under the patronage of Beria, one of these schemes was implemented.
A number of Georgian wineries produced “special batches” of popular wine brands, including Khvanchkara and Kindzmarauli.
This is the method. In this “wine” the alcohol and sugar levels exceeded the norm at least twice (it caught fire when a match was presented). For example, a box of “Khvanchkara” was sold using invoices from the factory. In Moscow, it was also accepted as “one box”, and then diluted with water to the desired condition, bottled, and labeled (consumables were supplied through the same factories, some of the bottles and labels were written off as “defects”).
Then the legal “box” went to the retail chain, and the illegal ones went to commercial stores and restaurants, where they were sold at completely different prices.
As a result, according to the documents, everything is covered up, and the profits are huge.
The scheme was directly led by the deputy head of “Glavvin” Mirzoyants, and the “roof” was Beria, for which he received up to 50% of the “left income”.
Taking into account the fact that the scheme worked throughout the country, and its uninterrupted operation was ensured by several dozen wineries, one can imagine the size of the “income”.
By the way, some historians believe that it was with the money from this scheme and under the “patronage” of Beria that the community of “Caucasian thieves in law” rose up.
By the way, the son of Beria-Sergo, from 1954 to 1964, was in exile in Sverdlovsk, lived in my native Khimmash and worked as a senior engineer at NIIKhimmash, my mother (Ts.N) knew him well (worked there)
