Он был другом моего отца.
Постепенно сдружился и я с ним. Сотни часов мы провели в одной рыбацкой лодке.
Тысячи историй он рассказал мне. О себе, о времени, о спорте.
Всегда вместе отдыхали на заводской базе отдыха в Верхней Сысерти. Арсентьич был моим наставником в рыбацких делах. Проффи. На пенсию в 90-х жить было туговато, так он изготовлял блесны и реализовывал их через комиссионный отдел "Спорттоваров".

А вот Владимир Куц, наш двухкратный олимпионик-стайер (у которого к тому же было на фронте прострелено лёгкое) , курил и на тренировках. Бежит 10000 метров. Устанет. Покурит. И дальше бежит.
И при этом всегда выигрывал. В том числе Олимпиады. Потому что побеждают не силой тела, а силой духа. Великие были люди, инопланетяне.
Выпить Арсентьич был тоже не дурак. Но всегда в меру. Для "настроения".
Помню, как мы с ним финал Чемпионата Мира по футболу 1998 года смотрели на базе. Он с утречка вырядился в маячку бразильской сборной, подаренную ему кем то из "легенд", то ли Вава, то ли Гарринча. Уже не помню.

А путь Владимира Арсентьевича в советском спорте поистине славный. Повторюсь, что он был универсал, как и многие известные тренеры и игроки того времени. Футбол, бенди и новомодный "хоккей с мячом".
После войны он тренировал команду "Динамо" Свердловск ( будущий "Автомобилист") по тогда ещё "нераскрученному" хоккею с шайбой.

"Уралхиммаш" остался в стороне (зато сейчас проводит турниры памяти "Тренера")
