В марте 1990 года Льву Яшину было присвоено звание Героя Социалистического Труда.
Единственному спортсмену в СССР.
Заслуженно.
До сих пор Лев Иванович считается лучшим вратарем в истории мирового футбола.
ФИФА официально признало его "Лучшим вратарем 20-го века".
Единственный вратарь,получивший звание "Лучший футболист Европы".
Олимпийский чемпион и чемпион Европы.
Мне было 5 лет,когда я смотрел с отцом прощальный матч Яшина.До сих пор помню момент когда его после передачи ворот "преемнику" Пильгую на руках с поля выносили Эйсебио, Бобби Чарльтон, Герд Мюллер и другие "легенды".
Болельщики тоже "носили его на руках".
И в переносном,и,спустя годы,в буквальном смысле,когда заносили его,безногого инвалида,на его 14-й этаж в доме с перманентно ломающимся лифтом.
Чего не скажешь про наших чинуш.
Николай Николаевич Озеров инициировал присвоение Яшину звания Героя,обратившись к Горбачеву.
Тот дал "добро",но канитель длилась больше года.
Яшин был уже очень болен.Ко всем его бедам ещё и рак на последней стадии.
Но при этом он регулярно посещал матчи своего "Динамо".
Поняв,что скоро вручать Звезду уже будет некому,в начале марта 1990 года Горбачев Указ подписал.
Президент намеревался вручить Звезду Героя лично.
По этому случаю в квартире у Яшиных в тот день собралось много народу.С утра приехали друзья. Николай Озеров, Никита Симонян, Геннадий Хазанов, Алексей Парамонов.

Накрыли стол.Стали ждать.Долго ждали..Яшин был весь на нервах.
В итоге Горбачев сам не приехал,а послал вместо себя Рафика Нишанова ,председателя Совета Национальностей Верховного Совета СССР.
Того сперва задержали дела в Верховном Совете,а потом по дороге ещё заехал отобедать в ресторан "Узбекистан".
Прибыл к концу дня, наспех вручил, поздравил и откланялся.
Через 6 дней Яшин умер.
Звезда Героя была передана в Музей Спорта вместе со всеми спортивными регалиями Льва Ивановича.Через пару лет её вернули вдове с резолюцией "Не имеет исторической ценности".
Я люблю свою Родину-СССР.И считаю,что та страна,в которой я жил,была лучшим государством в мировой истории.Но...

Nikolai Nikolaevich Ozerov initiated the awarding of the title of Hero to Yashin by turning to Gorbachev.
He gave the go-ahead, but the hassle lasted more than a year.
Yashin was already very ill. To add to all his troubles, he also had cancer at the last stage.
But at the same time, he regularly attended the matches of his Dynamo.
Realizing that soon there would be no one to hand over the Star, at the beginning of March 1990 Gorbachev signed the Decree.
The President intended to present the Hero Star personally.
On this occasion, a lot of people gathered in the Yashins’ apartment that day. Friends arrived in the morning. Nikolay Ozerov, Nikita Simonyan, Gennady Khazanov, Alexey Paramonov.
Khazanov spoke in detail about the events of that day.
They set the table. They began to wait. They waited for a long time.. Yashin was all on nerves.
As a result, Gorbachev himself did not come, but sent in his place Rafik Nishanov, Chairman of the Council of Nationalities of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR.
He was first detained by business in the Supreme Council, and then on the way he stopped for lunch at the Uzbekistan restaurant.
He arrived at the end of the day, hastily handed it over, congratulated him and took his leave.
After 6 days, Yashin died.
The Hero's Star was transferred to the Sports Museum along with all the sports regalia of Lev Ivanovich. A couple of years later it was returned to the widow with the resolution “It has no historical value.”
I love my Motherland, the USSR. And I believe that the country in which I lived was the best state in world history. But...
They are the same bureaucrats always and everywhere.
Even "in our distant future..."
