Продолжаю тему "странных" для туристов, но близких для "аборигенов" городских объектов Свердловска -Екатеринбурга.

Такие "мелочи",какие то местные "фишечки" ,могут рассказать о городе и его жителях больше,чем толстые красивые путеводители.

У нас тоже немало таких "памятников".

В советское время на Плотинке были установлены (по краям плотины) два одинаковых монумента.

Название официальное "Разорванные цепи пролетариата".

Острословы тут же окрестили их "фигами в небо",с неким политическим подтекстом.

А уж когда "Наутилус Помпилиус " записал сонг "Скованные одной цепью",то за творениями сразу закрепилось название "Памятник "Нау".

Вот такое "провидение" градостроителей советской эпохи.

I continue the theme of urban objects of Sverdlovsk and Yekaterinburg that are “strange” for tourists, but close to the “natives.”

Such “little things”, some local “tricks”, can tell more about the city and its inhabitants than thick, beautiful guidebooks.

We also have many such “monuments”.

In Soviet times, two identical monuments were installed on Plotinka (along the edges of the dam).

The official title is “Broken Chains of the Proletariat.”

Wits immediately dubbed them “figs in the sky,” with some political overtones.

And when “Nautilus Pompilius” recorded the song “Bound by one chain”, the name “Monument “Nau”” was immediately assigned to the creations.

This is the “providence” of urban planners of the Soviet era.
